Breeding the finest animals, exemplary for their breed, has always been a passion of mine. The idea of breeding the finest in purebred Nubian dairy goats has spanned the past 13 years. I have come to enjoy great success with the goats, and so now, as time and experience have passed, I felt it was time to explore other avenues of livestock which have always interested me. And so, we welcome purebred Jersey cattle and purebred Chickens to Shadow Vale Farm.

Our appreciation for style, balance, and elegance in an animal led us to concentrate our breeding programs - whether it be goats, cows, or chickens - around the various bloodlines which we felt combined those attributes consistently. Upon combining these genetics, and through the careful combination of using National breed club programs, instinct, experience, and personal preference, we are now seeing the consistency in style, breed type, sound structure, and quality mammary systems (when it comes to the goats and cows!) we had envisioned years ago.
